We celebrate our 18th historic marker, located in Rock Hill, which tells the intertwined stories of Rock Hill and nearby Glen Wild. It highlights how early Jewish farmers in the area blended agriculture and hospitality, advancing a tourism industry that shaped Catskill resort culture.
Start the morning at the Rock Hill Farmers Market at (61 Glen Wild Road) featuring local vendors, farmers, and a special Marker Project merchandise table.
At 12:00 PM, join us for the dedication ceremony outside Pizza the Rock and connect with the region’s rich history. Both events are free and open to the public, perfect for anyone curious about the area’s fascinating past.
