In 2025, the Borscht Belt Historical Marker Project continued its mission to honor and preserve the legacy of the Catskills’ Borscht Belt era through a series of historic marker dedications and public programs.
This year, we installed six historic markers—in Ellenville, Greenfield Park, Livingston Manor, Loch Sheldrake, Parksville, and Woodbourne - each paired with public programs celebrating the life, culture, and legacy of the Borscht Belt. With 15 locations now on the marker trail there are more ways than ever to explore the stories of this iconic region!
